European Study Tour

Europe leads a global movement towards increase utilization of renewable energies. Though results vary within member states, Europe is moving ahead with its community-wide targets of increasing substantially the share of renewables in energy consumption. A two-leg European study tour, one in UK and the other in Denmark, was organized for the Philippine banks to provide them first-hand knowledge of successful RE investments and networking opportunities. The study tour was composed of workshops and dialogues with European RE investors and financiers and of site visits to operational RE systems.
