The National Business Forum was the culminating activity of the capacity building program, where representatives from the three banks presented and discussed their policies, plans and programs on RE financing to major local project developers, government agencies, RE associations and other stakeholders. The forum also hosted several talks on current trends, issues and concerns in the local RE industry including the proposed Biofuels and Renewable Energy Bills and the Clean Development Mechanism.
The National Business Forum was held on 2 May 2006 at the Quezon Ballroom of the Makati Shangri-la Hotel. It was attended by around 200 participants who are RE project developers, members of the academe and RE associations, representatives of local and international financing communities, representatives of the three beneficiary banks, government planners, and other stakeholders.
